MIL2ATP is just taking off!

 

MIL2ATP, Inc. offers flight training for aviation ratings from private pilot to ATP. We specialize in assisting military personnel to achieve their civilian flying goals.

Private Pilot License

Flight training is conducted in Piper Cherokees, low-wing single-engine aircraft. A private pilot license requires a minimum of 40 flight hours and sufficient ground school to pass the written and practical tests. You will learn aircraft handling, navigation, and basic instrument flying. Training cross-country, night, and solo flights.

Study Kit: $199.95
Headset: $119
Medical: $125
Ground School: $45/hr

 

Flight Training: $150/hr
Checkride Fee: ~$300
Written Test: $150

If you are able to complete your private pilot license in 45 hours, expect to pay a little over $8500 total. Most students take longer. To be able to finish in 40-50 hours, we recommend students fly 1-2 times a week.

Instrument Rating

Flight training is conducted in Piper Cherokees, low-wing single-engine aircraft. An instrument rating requires 50 hours of cross-country flight time, 40 hours of instrument time and sufficient ground school to pass the written and practical tests. You will learn instrument flight, navigation and approaches. Training includes cross-country, night and solo flights.

Ground School: $45 / hr
Flight Training: $150 / hr
Checkride Fee: ~$300
Written Test: $150

If you are able to complete your rating in the minimum number of hours, expect to pay approximately $9500 total. 

Commercial License

Flight training is conducted in Piper Cherokees and a Piper Arrow. To obtain a commercial license, a pilot must have 250 hours of flight time. Requirements include cross-country, instrument, night and solo time. The student must also complete 10 hours of flight training in a complex aircraft and sufficient ground school to pass the written test.

Flight Training, complex aircraft: $210 / hr
Solo Flights: $80 / hr + gas

The cost of this license will vary depending on how many hours the student has already logged.

Airline Transport Pilot Certificate

This flight training program was developed for pilots who have completed the ATP written test and require a practical test. Flight training is conducted in the Piper Seneca II.

ATP Flying Course $3500*:  The ATP Flying Course is fast-paced training designed to prep military pilots in current flying jobs to take a check ride in the Piper Seneca II. The course includes 4 hours of flight training and 5 hours of ground instruction. We have developed some course add-ons to assist those who may need extra training.

GA Fam: Additional general aviation familiarization and landing training in a Piper Cherokee; designed for those with less than 150 civilian aviation hours. +$250* 

Additional Flight Time: For those who are not in a current flying job or would like to learn at a more relaxed pace – an extra 1.5 hours of flight training. +$500*

*The above fees DO NOT include the check pilot’s fee. The fee is typically $550.
